The two eagles from North America: the Bald Eagle - 4.18 kg (9.2 lb) - and the Golden Eagle - 6.35 kg (14.0 lb) -
Two other eagles are visitors from Asia and Eurasia and find their way to North America through the Aleutian Islands. They are the White-tailed Eagle, also known as the "Gray-sea Eagle" - 4–6.9 kg (8.8–15.2 lb) -  and the Steller's Sea Eagle - 6.8 to 9 Kg (15 to 20 lb) -. These birds have even been known to nest in Alaska.
